I was lucky enough to join a Beaches, Bays and Seals Guided Sea Kayaking trip with Wilsons Abel Tasman. It's one of many different trips on offer from Wilsons Abel Tasman and it's an awesome way to discover some of the incredible Abel Tasman coastline.
We started out from Kaiteriteri in Abel Tasman and took a cruise boat to Torrent Bay, we met our kayak guide there and hopped into our kayaks to head off on our day exploring the Abel Tasman National Park!
I went on the kayak trip at the end of May and the weather was great!
We had a beautiful day with very calm sea conditions and stunning blue skies, which made for an amazing day kayaking! Our guide was a friendly local Kiwi and she was very knowledgeable about the ocean and the local wildlife. It was great learning more about this stunning part of New Zealand.
I went out on the trip with my husband and we had a two-seater kayak! We both had such a good day and there were no arguments about paddling at all - success!
Anyone who is keen to discover the Abel Tasman National Park from a different vantage point. It's really fun kayaking down the coast and seeing everything from the boat. It's a beautiful area and so nice and peaceful, the kayak tour is a really great way to see more of the Abel Tasman region.
